1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of softwaresidehustles.com (the "site"), operated by [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: legal name] of [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: address] (company number [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED, if applicable]). Contact: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: email].
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
2. What the site is — and is not
The site is an independent educational and referral resource about technical AI training and evaluation work. It provides information about third-party platforms, a questionnaire, practice exercises, optional paid practice and optional tutoring.
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by DataAnnotation, Alignerr, Mercor or any other platform we describe, unless we clearly state a formal relationship.
- Each platform alone decides its eligibility rules, assessments, acceptance and project availability. We cannot influence those decisions.
- Our recommendations are suggestions, not predictions or guarantees. Earnings vary and are not guaranteed; work is not guaranteed.
- We do not provide, sell or solicit confidential assessment content from any platform. Our exercises are original.
- Some links are referral links. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Platform information is checked against the platform's public pages on the date shown, but it can change without notice. Always confirm current details with the platform.
3. Accounts
You can sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One account per person. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the site, share paid content or interfere with its operation.
4. Premium practice ("Premium Practice Lifetime Pass")
- Price: the price shown at checkout, in the currency shown, including any applicable taxes [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: confirm VAT/sales-tax treatment]. Payment is a one-time charge processed by Stripe. There is no subscription.
- What you get: access, while signed in, to the premium labs described on the product page, including exercises we add to those labs later.
- "Lifetime" access means access for the operational lifetime of the premium practice product. It does not expire on a schedule. If we ever permanently discontinue the product, we will give at least 60 days' notice [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: confirm notice period and any pro-rata refund approach], and this does not affect your statutory rights.
- Personal licence: premium content is for your personal, non-commercial learning. Do not copy, publish, resell or share exercises, answer keys or explanations.
- Not required: premium practice is optional and is not required, endorsed or recognised by any platform. It does not guarantee any assessment result or acceptance.
- Access is granted when our payment provider confirms payment. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
5. Tutoring
- Submitting a tutoring request does not create a booking. We review requests and, if we can help, propose a time.
- A booking is confirmed only when you have paid and we have sent a confirmation email.
- Sessions are delivered by video call. If you miss a confirmed session without notice, it is treated as delivered. If we need to reschedule, we will offer a new time or a full refund.
- Coaching covers programming and evaluation skills. It does not guarantee admission to any third-party platform and does not provide confidential assessment answers.
- Cancellations and refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: attempt to access other people's data or premium content you have not paid for; scrape or overload the site; submit unlawful or harmful content; impersonate others; or attempt to manipulate our referral or analytics systems.
7. Intellectual property
The site's text, exercises, explanations and design belong to us or our licensors. Names and trademarks of third-party platforms belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
8. Liability
We take reasonable care with the information we publish, but we do not guarantee it is complete or current, and we are not responsible for third-party sites. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of income, business or opportunity, or for any indirect loss. Our total liability to you for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applied when you made a purchase governs that purchase.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: e.g. England and Wales]. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the law of the country where you live.
