How referral links work on SoftwareSideHustles.com and how we may be compensated.

SoftwareSideHustles.com is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by DataAnnotation, Alignerr, Mercor or any other platform we write about, unless we clearly say otherwise.

Some of the links we show to AI training platforms may be referral links. If you are accepted or hired through a referral link, we may receive compensation from that platform under its referral programme.

  • Platform cards say whether a link is a referral link, may be a referral link, or an official application link (no referral code).
  • Referral programmes do not change how a platform assesses your application; each platform decides independently.
  • We only enable a referral link after checking the platform's programme terms, and we follow those terms, including any rules on how referrals may be promoted.
  • Some programmes limit how many referrals a person can make. Where that applies, we may show the ordinary application link instead of a referral link. You can always apply through the ordinary link.

How we decide what to show

When you complete our questionnaire, we use your answers to decide which links and resources to show you. This affects whether you see a referral link or an ordinary link, but you can always reach every platform's ordinary application page from our platform guides. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

We also sell optional practice materials and tutoring. They are not required by, endorsed by, or connected to any platform, and buying them does not affect whether you see a referral link.
